24 Hours Moisturizing Plan & Korean Tips
Even though winter is coming to an end, it’s often a time for our skin to become drier–and it’s especially worse if you have a dry skin type, to begin with. But worry not, us here at JoahBox have prepared this 24 Hours Moisturizing Plan & Korean tips for your skincare routine that will certainly improve your skin.
Before we get into the plan, we recommend that you try your hardest to drink 8 glasses of water every single day, as this will help your skin immensely, as well as your body and health in general.
Just as how you would eat breakfast in the morning, you need to “feed” your skin with the nutrients it needs once you wake up. Before you put on makeup, as part of your skincare routine, make sure to use essence and a moisturizer.
Around 30 minutes before you leave the house, and preferably before applying a full face of makeup, it’s important to protect your skin from UV rays by applying sunscreen.
During lunchtime, instead of going for an unhealthy soda or another cup of coffee, try going for a cup or two of water instead, as this will definitely benefit your skin on the long run.
If you’re in a dry place, and if you can feel your skin literally becoming drier, try to refresh your face with a different type of products. One you could try is a face mist.
If you’re still stuck at work this time or you’re going out somewhere, and you want to touch up your makeup, you should rather go for a creamy or dewy type of foundation pact (or cushion foundation). Make sure to avoid matte ones especially if your skin type is pretty dry.
When you get home for the night, make sure to properly remove all your makeup (here some Korean tips on how to remove your makeup) and complete your skincare routine before bed. You should keep focusing on keeping your skin moisturized with the type of products you use.
In January 2019, JoahBox we sent to some of you the Waterfall Moist Balanced Hyaluronic Acid from the brand ‘the Plant Base’. This ampoule is perfect for your skincare routine in order to moisturize your skin nicely. Did you get it? Give us your thoughts on it in the comments!
